Investigations:
Our department offers the citizens of Wilton several special functions which strengthens our relationship and offers a higher degree of service.
We are a full service police agency which investigates all criminal activities within the 96.1 square miles of patrol area. By Maine Law, we do not investigate homicides but will assist the Maine State Police as needed.
Lieutenant Caton and Chief Brown are certified sex abuse investigators with multiple years of investigative experience. Both serve as Field Training Officers and the Chief has extensive experience in patrol operations and domestic violence dating back to 1995.
Patrol Officers assist as needed with serious investigations. All major crimes are processed and investigated by your department.
